The Scrapbook Studio: New Family Histrory Class Series

CREATE A FAMILY HISTORY TO SHARE WITH YOUR FAMILY

Scrapbook instructor extraordinaire, Sandra Bruce, and writer/publisher/scrapper Julie Watson will lead a winter FAMILY HISTORY program on the first Monday of each month from November thru April. Sign up for one class, two classes or the whole series.

Sessions will include handouts, a project, and time for hands-on work on your own Family Tree using scrapbooking techniques to produce a page (or more) for your album. They will teach a number of topics to help you create a family history to be proud of and put it into a form easily shared with others. While the Family History program is designed to follow the outlined sessions below, they plan to be flexible to the group?s interests.

Class is limited to 10 to ensure that everyone has the space and tools needed to work on their own project

Week 1 - Getting Started

Week 2 - Photographs

Week 3 - Tapping Into Available Resources

Week 4 - Telling the Story (Journaling)

Week 5 - Creating Your Tree and Other Visual Aids

Week 6 - Creating A Book to Share

COST - $25 per week, or pay for all six sessions in advance and SAVE $25 (cost $125)

WHEN - First Monday of each month: Nov 5, Dec 3, Jan 7, Feb 4, March 4, Apr 8

(Alternate dates will be advised in case of storm or other closures)
